Mongo waxcoats are made from Egyptian cotton to which a wax layer has been applied making the coat waterproof. To guarantee longer enjoyment of your waxcoat we recommend you regularly apply a new wax layer to your coat. You can either use wax dressing or wax spray for this. 

Wax service

Wax spray is the easiest method, wax dressing the best! However, in order to do this properly you need a lot of time, patience and expertise. That’s why Mongo employs a wax service where you can simply have this done for you! Your coat is thoroughly overhauled and given an entirely new wax layer. You pay € 49,= for a short coat and € 59,= for a long coat. If you want to make use of this service your coat has to be handed in completely clean.

Tip

Never clean your coat in a washing machine and never send it in to the dry cleaner´s. If required use cold water and natural soap to degrease your coat lightly and apply a new wax coat after it has completely dried out. 

Repair service

Are you very attached to your coat?

Mongo makes use of their own repair shop where virtually any (wax) coat can be repaired.
